The title picture is of an Oriental Dollarbird, photographed by my colleague Dev Narayan Mandal at the Bhatighadi Community Forest that we restored back in 2020 through support from the McGough Foundation. It’s an appropriate choice as we’re still trying to find matching pledges in dollars, sterling, euros or any other major currency towards our forthcoming Big Give ‘Earth Raise’ campaign that launches on the 22nd April for one week. But the pledge deadline is this Friday, the 27th March, and we still need to find £14,500 in pledges that will incentivise and match online donations to the same value during the campaign.
