Our Project Needs Your Support

In a previous post, we announced our having been awarded a £70,000 grant by the Guernsey Overseas Aid and Development Commission towards an £80,000 project in Dhanusha District, Madhesh Province, south Nepal. Essentially, as a major contribution towards the circular economy within the region, we will be converting sewage into safe pellets that can be incorporated into a low-cost, powerful, eco-compost. Sale of the compost to local farmers will allow the facility to be self-sustaining. And we can also use the compost in our future reforestation projects.

Work started at the site just one week ago and in the film below Mithila Wildlife Trust volunteer, Daan Vegter, describes the lie of the land!
