Our Project Needs Your Support

This year, my wife Bev and I will be 66 which gave us the idea for a challenge. We’ve decided to attempt to run six European marathons together in 2026 to raise £60,000 towards six of Pipal Tree’s projects in Nepal.

Our first marathon will be in Seville on the 15th February, followed by Barcelona in March. Then we’ll attempt Milan and London in April followed by two more marathons – at venues to be decided – at the end of the year.

We’ll never reach this fundraising target alone, so, we’re inviting supporters to join the team. Already our Trustee/Treasurer, John Clark, has said he’ll take on six ultramarathons and Trustee Nigel Clarke has mapped out a 66-mile walk around the Isle of Wight for the summer (dates to be confirmed).

Would you like to join Team Pipal Tree? You don’t have to run a marathon; any personal challenge on the theme of a six according to your ability would be perfect. It could be to bake six cakes and sell them at an event. Or shed six kilos – thirteen pounds – over the course of the year. Or join us for a leg stretch on the Isle of Wight.

The button below will take you to a link where you can find out more, join the team or donate. If you’d like me to help set up your fundraising page, I’d be very happy to assist.

Let’s make this a year to remember. If you have any suggestions, I’d love to hear them. Just message me.
