We have become expert at strategic fundraising, using Big Give fundraising campaigns to double the value of online donations through matching pledges that we have secured beforehand. These pledges come from a mix of corporate partners, foundations, and major donors in our network, plus a ‘Champion’ funder provided by The Big Give itself. For example, in this year’s Christmas Challenge (2nd–9th December), we’ll start with £50,000 in matched funds (£25,000 from our supporters, £25,000 from The Big Give). Every donation made online during that week will be matched pound for pound (in any major currency).
